On February 2, 2023 the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the factory of Global Textile Infinity as a part of his business trip to Fergana region.
This is not the first time the President visits this factory: in May 2022 the head of the state was introduced to this ambitious project and witnessed the construction of the facility.
Global Textile Infinity is indeed a massive project and the biggest one in the portfolio of Global Textile. It is the largest textile complex not only in Uzbekistan but in the entire Central Asian Region in terms of production capacity: the facility is designed to produce more than 18 million meters of mixed fabric and more than 10 million garments annually.
The factory is equipped with the most innovative and advanced technologies. For instance, the instalment of solar panels on the roof of the factory will help to make up to 23% of its energy consumption green. To guarantee the high quality of produced goods, the swiss-made equipment of Rieter Machine Work is installed, and the quality-control laboratory is set up in the production area.
During his visit to the factory, the President emphasized the need to increase the range of offered products and to establish partnerships with worldwide known brands.
