On July 13th, Better Cotton Initiative started its first seminar for the 2023-2024 season. Global Textile was represented by our team for implementing the better cotton system headed by the project manager, Sardor Inoyatov.
Experts from London and Pakistan shed light on why sustainable cotton is attractive to international retailers and brands, what to expect from the program development this year, and the importance of physical traceability of the product. During the training, priority areas for program implementation were discussed, participants had the opportunity to share their lessons learned and explore the significance of supply chain transparency for sustainable cotton.
Acquiring new knowledge and keep up with the times are of utmost importance to us. Hence why we express our gratitude to the “Uztextileprom” Association, Better Cotton Initiative, and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) for organizing this seminar.
